Albert was a gracious competitor, and a real nice guy. It was a pleasure watching him surf in person, along with the other guys in the comp. I had the first heat with Albert, then had another heat later with Baden Smith I got smoked, but had a great time. I think I surfed about 8 hours this day at Bendalong Beach.
