What got me about this little corner is how unindonesian it looked. The points, bays cut in to the cliffs, rocks, and forests could be canada, Ireland or parts of california if you weren't there enjoying the humidity, water temperature and constant swell.
A nice change from all those 'orrible white sand beaches and palm trees
Well recently do to some holiday in the land of the rising sun, it could have been part of Tokyo. The local kids even though fasting, have linked right into the Japanese surf travel scene. We have had up to 22 Japanese in the water at any one time. For some reason, they all believe that taking off behind the section is the best thing to do, even if they only make the section one in ten times.
Recently I did a quick survey and we had the following nationalities in the water all at one time. Australian, USA, Israel (yep), Canadian, New Zealand, Japanese, German, Brazilian, Belgium
And the winner is the lone traveler from POLAND he paddled out into solid 7 foot close outs, with no one else out, and no one on the beach
