Ross: your comment just prompted a search, looks like Transworld Surf have cashed in on it this issue, 'the last secret spot in Indo'

Still, it's not really the area I surf most so fingers crossed there are a few years left yet around and about. A shame though, a really good kneeboard wave, heart in your mouth drop and near dry barrels between the sneaker sets and closeouts. Keeps you on your toes.
Hi JohnS - Dave would answer your question better than me, but seeing as he lives halfway up a mountain with limited internet I'll give you my observations.
When I first saw his boards I immediately thought of one of your early posts on this forum - if I remember right you surf(ed) boards that were more stand-up inspired and used standup shapers. Dave's boards are genuine thrusters with the fins on the tail and a fairly wide spread. They are narrow (21" +) longish (6'2") and with drawn in noses. He surfs off the tail, leans forwards real low and almost always hands on through turns and in the tube. The whole combination is very drivey and it works well on the kind of waves he surfs where you need to cover a lot of ground round sections and through the tube. Not a contemporary board, I guess, but it works very well for him!
Awesome photos as usual Thomas going to give it a shot (again) some times soon, when you are least expecting it
BTW no indonesian moment number 12 like my last trip. I am in Singapore now, after 4 days in Thailand, heading home hope surf Sunday Monday with the incoming sell
#1. Take of your extra large LA "Fuck Me" chick sunglasses.
#2. Drop your little Gold Lame' purse over on the side.
(Hopefully you're wearing surf trunks and not a man bananaskin,
we'll think good thoughts...)
Oh, one more question....
"Do you or do you not require a camera to be on hand in order to paddle out"???
Do you have adequate employer provided health care????

Tom, I have learned the "Industry" will always sellout.
