Seco, is that an extra long Cove Pad or just an optical illusion ?

Thanks Seco, You did a great job- Tail block and all. Its a cinch to install a Cove Pad. Now go get some of the combo swell we have all week! Fossil- that appears to be a photo illusion, standard blast pad dims at 35 inches long.

Hey Casey, do you have any pics of that ''faux kneewell'' pad set-up you did for Wanderer ? ( you probably posted those and I'm just havin some kinda memory lapse ) . Been thinking of this crazy combo....Cove ''kneewell, extra high tail block like you made me, maybe tapered front to back to match the wedge shaped space left between flippers when on the deck, and finally a side block ( see squid grip equipped board 3 or 4 pages into ''board album'' ) maybe a Cove version of the concept. I think you'd be so locked onto that deck it'd be almost scary

Hi fossil man ill take a photo and post it for you Casey prepared 3 tapered layers under the top
The it's easy to do but careful sanding is needed & you need at least 1" cover at the sides
The design just curves 3" in from the sides at the top if you extend any further it digs into your ribs
But the hold achieved is unbelievable it helps you locate your knees in exactly the right spot every time right width right place no slide offs Smile

That'd be great, thanks Scott. The pad sounds sweet, does it allow you to get your knees out for a good wide stance. I'm always trying to overcome my bad habits from 70's California kneeboarding of landing on the deck with my knees too close together
