i had a 7'2" Linden round pin back in 88'(standup). got it 2nd hand.
went unreal, very positive.
would penetrate 8-10' Jockos from the outside and fly and turn at 4' rocky point. i rode this board all winter and then one day in early spring i arrived at Rocky rights and the wave was breaking all the way into Gas Chambers. dream conditions. everyone is slathering at the mouth and freakin out cuz the waves are that good. i paddle out and get halfway to the outside when this set comes in and this regular foot drops in at outside Rocky rights and gets slotted into this spinning vortex. he comes right to me. my choice is try to duck dive and most likely ruin this guys dream wave or sit on the reef and take it on the head. being a standup guy i am i choose the latter and after a nice little beating the Linden was cleft in two. i never got a wave.
it took 3 sixpacks of tall budweiser to placate me that nite.

ROCK, you should have had a couple "snakebites" 1/2 guinness, 1/2 cider pints, that would have helped a lot more than that pisswater yer drinkin.

i hear ya. but this was 1988 and i was somewhat "monetarily" challenged. tall buds are definitely a step up from Hamms or Meisterbrau.

Surfhorn, I have the details right here, Length is 6", width is 3.5", nose, I prefer calling it a head should be no more than one inch, Britain has laws about the size of the head, and the tail, I guess you mean the amount of liquid inside the pint is at least 5".
