Thanks for the link, brought back such memories..

I was a a grom when I watched an earlier final between Gigs and Roman at perfect 6-8 foot Supers on TV.. was certainly a defining moment for me. They were killing it..!

Certainly do-able.. You would probably have to fly into SA then catch a connecting flight to Windhoek in Namibia. From there either rent a vehicle (4x4 for sand) and drive the 300km+ to Walvis Bay where the spot is situated. There is a small landing strip there but I'm not sure what the set-up is wi...

Came across this and there's a fair amount of footage of an unknown Kneeboarder getting some decent ones at what must now be one of the worlds most sought after waves..
