Another great event put on by KSUSA! Thanks to everyone behind the scenes for allowing us to speed surf southside all by ourselves. It was awesome seeing everyone again and I got to meet/know a bunch of new people too! Looking forward to next year!

Your post got me thinking Mike. That guy said we travel in herds. I think kneeboarders should have a better name for a group of us than a herd. Like a murder of crows, a flamboyance of flamingos, an intrusion of cockroaches..we deserve better than a herd. Any ideas?

I did the Salani surf camp about ten years ago. Salani right is fun, the left is fast and fun, both have a little consequence when its big. We surfed this place called boulders on Sunday, since you aren't allowed to surf on Sunday but the owner of this land said it was cool. Creepy left with boulder...

I think its pointing at Kneelo Cove. I was watching some hot kneeboard action this morning! Kinda cool.

Is there any video out there of the open semi-finals? I was in the water and heard that it was one of the craziest heats to watch, but I didn't get to watch it. Just wondering.

Mark, I love talking about Bali! I think Kuta is good for a family trip. There are tons of things to do there, including surfing for the kids. Kuta beach break is super mellow, at times, and there are all kinds of board rentals on the beach. I like staying in Bingin for surf, and Lynnie's is the bes...

Matt, there are places to stay in Bingin, just north of Uluwatu, on the cliff that are super cheap, even free if you buy food from them I hear. If you show up and ask around you can find something for sure. From there you can surf Bingin, straight out front, Impossibles, a 5 minute walk to the south...

I don't post very often but I feel the need to say Thanks to KSUSA and everyone who put on this event. The vibe was awesome. The waves were fun. The tide was high. A highlight for me was a heat I had with Shawn Murphy, Matt Pierce and Sam Coyne. My friends and family were making fun of me, laughing ...
