my 2 cents worth- I'm currently riding a LarrMo KG XPS/Epoxy twinzer fish (I think its extruded not expanded polysty, so it's XPS not EPS) Mabile doesn't shape kneboards exclusively, but I use mine for both kneeing and standup. The board is seemingly much stronger, and seems to flex significantly mo...

If you're not in a hurry, see if you can literally "ship" it out of the port of Sydney to a shipping port in Japan (you'd have to pick up at the port). A friend of mine shipped a motorcycle from the port of Baltimore to Hamburg Germany dirt cheap last year. Some hassle, but worth it. He ha...

Surfline etc. may be able to predict the big swells (anyone can), but there's still an element of surprise- it's worth a dawn patrol check anywhere. I was at Hatteras late last August, all the reports were knee high slop and onshore winds, instead we had long clean head-high waves with light offshor...

All beautiful boards, what a quiver they would make (drool, drool). Interesting to see how far back the fins are on the red triple stringer board vs. the four-finners at the top of the page. Is the difference in placement basically just speed vs. turning radius, or is it more complex? (I live for sp...

Wow ScottMac those forward fins on the left board ARE way forward. I'd suspect they aren't really influencing flow over the rear fins (?) How's it ride/turn? I'm gonna run upstairs and shoot a pic of my board for comparison.

K-Man,Yep, it's sold as a standup, I got it small enough for me to knee. Fins are pretty well back, with channels as well. I plan to play with some smaller fins to loosen it up while kneeing- I like to pull off sideslips in some sits. I probably do the opposite from most guys- I knee in our small zi...

I know, I'm way behindthe times. But it's a gem. BTW, my early 80's MR twin was a total pig (still have it). No cant on the fins (STAR System), the beard was really slow and sticky until it got way overhead..

Anybody riding a twinzer?

Just curious. I've been looking back thu the posts, seems like a lot of quad talk (four equal sized fins) but nothing on twinzers (two small canards ahead of the twins). I got a 6'2" KG twinzer, EPS/epoxy, shaped by LarrMo this summer. The board freakin flies, and turns on a dime. Can't believe...
