I like the thicker 8mm pad Diamond Fly with the flat top! I also wax my pads a little to prevent any water absorption.

Check out Airwave Boardbags in SF. Mark is a very cool guy and the bags are custom; love my double Boardbag/coffin he made for me. http://airwavesf.com

Good to see you Scott and meet Alfredo. Good session for me as well; glassy, fun size 3-5', and my friend and I sharing a peak all to ourselves! Not epic, but really really fun!

Watched the contest all morning! So nice to see good conditions. I was on the beach with all the SF locals and it was dredging on the sand bar. A lot harder than it looked on line. Kelly, obviously shined as did Jordy and Hobgood got the sickest pit of the day!

Really love the 4/3 O'Neill Psycho ll, but they do make a 4.5/3.5 superfreak that is a little warmer but not a flexable.

For what it's worth, I use the Toobs Bluntcut fins. I fit them over a round toe bootie. Trimmed the edges so there is no over hang on the rails.

Hey Bob, I think that was me at VFW's on Fri. Saw the whole Coast Guard thing going down and didn't know what that was all about? Last Mon broke in the new Flashy 6'0" tri-pin-tail at Fort Point, Tues scored small but fun VFW on the new 5'7" pig-fish quad, took wed off, thurs surfed double...

For what it's worth I swear by the O'Neill Psycho 2 in a 4/3. Fit shouldn't be a problem as O'Neill makes wetsuits in just about every size you can think of. It is the only double fluid seamed suit I know of.
