Tonight is a blue moon = second full moon in a month. Last night the beach was gorgeous- there is a red tide and the phosphoresence was outstanding.

What's the call for SoCal (Santa Monica/Malibu) this weekend? I have to attend a grandson's 1st b-day party on Sunday in Marina del Rey but will have Saturday AM open (and maybe Sunday AM...).

You're on the target, Captain. The ultimate John Mel fish design (for me...even though I'm a single/thruster guy) is 5'5" long.

Sounds like its time for a 1 inch balsa or redwood stringer.
