I was fortunate enough to find a stack of closed cell foam 2' x 2' sq. at a surplus hardware store that I haunt down near the ship yards in San Diego. They are only 3/32" thick and have some type of 3m peel and stick backing. Supposedly they're for no-slip applications on boat decks and gangway...

Just about every one of us over the age of 35 has some form of back problem. It almost goes without saying that a good daily stretching regimine is a necessity. Before I stretch however I apply a "bed buddy" to my lower back to pre-warm the muscles. You can purchase one for $10.00 at most ...

Found these pads today. I believe they are eva. They look like the right thickness. However, you can google "yoga mats" and find many other eva pads of various thickness, colors and textures.

FCS now has a line of fiberglass fins with inside foil. They also have an adapter for the use of FCS fins in standard longboard fin boxes. (See the longboard fin section on their site.)
