It doesn't sound like I would be too stretched by this drive or need a 4wd.

I'm thinking that we'll spend 10-14 or so days to allow us to make stop-offs to surf

so jerry is the point as good and as bad as they say. I've been filled with the fear about the lcalism there! Everywhere else I've surfed in oregon I've had really good experiences with folks in the surf.... v friendly in my experience.

what's the biggest board people ride e.g. cold water, lots of rubber, small take off zone, get in early, lots of wankers (drop ins, snaking around paddling), fins/no-fins ??

What's the freeline "shquad" - anyone heard of this??

Also and dare I say it ..................... any good epoxy quads out there - anyone got any feedback e.g. hynson boardworks black knight quad?
