I can't tell you how many times I've done the 360 as a stall maneuver and found myself perfectly slotted. It's a functional maneuver when done correctly at the right moment.

As of the last few years , the "Round Pin" has done me well in large beach break barrels.Before that it was swallows and square tails...placement of the fins and positioning on the board def. come into play as well.

In the last 4 years we've seen two attacks at Marina. State Beach....we now call the sand bar "Snackbar"...

After waiting out the 6+ High tide this am...I paddled out to 8-10' perfect surf just after noon today.Just like Scott ,it didn't come easily at first. Unfortunately,you can say "I'm an expert on this isssue"...8 surgeries later. four on each ear. I've was once told that once done,the growth comes back twice as quickly.(Should have prolonged that first operation)...So I urge anyone who's thinking of having the surgery performed,they wait ...
