Well....It wasn't epic or perfect,just scarey... Biggest nw/s combo this yr.on the north reefs.Breaking way out in the kelp beds,and dodgeing the thick mats was a chore.Stuck inside on a 6/8 wave set with a wicked side current....1/2 mile down the reef.Didn't get many,no body did.... Little spot ins...

First small NW coming down the coast.Calling for 6.5 at 15/16,mixed with a small south.Good tides all week .We've had a real small south for the last ten days...barely rideable.Haven't seen another kneelo for at leat a month!!

The reefs were going pretty good today.Wash cycle in the morning,Fun paddle out...10 wave sets... :roll:Classic south... :lol: cleaned up by noon.Fog moved out past the kelp beds. Fog line from the tip of P reyes to about muir.Warm and sunny...20+min walk...straight uphill...fark!!Going back tomorro...

That time of the yr...Fall at OB,one of my favorite places.Kids in school.Labor days about here and gone.....

Carpenters dream over here...flat as a board... Went south to cron yestiddy,caught the ebb..2-4 some 5 footers...That place sucks in any small swell and magnifies it.Lot of juice for a small wave.The call is for this thursday/fri and a bit.Hopefully this south will have something to it.

Considering the cards you were dealt with,the surfing was pretty damned good!looks like it cleaned up a bit later in the day?Double chaka for the one armed bandit..not easy for balance with a missing wing....cheers

Nice wave pic on the web site..Too bad it's a foot surfer,not a kneelo... probably trolls the various sites creating products for each scenario.... 30$ for a tee?.....Not unless it's a benefit to our site...which it isn't.

went to cronkite yestiddy...Swell jumped.Got my arse kicked pretty good.The quad fish was not enough board... Local buoys Say 3.2 at 13...Not bad.The storm surf report for the kiddee pool says knee to waist... :lol: :roll: It'll be 3-5 this evening till dark.And!another south called for this weekend...

I've used several products.(for me ) weldwood contact cement works the best.And if it's necessary to remove the pads;which I've done several times.It's not an hellacious chore.The main concern is having a clean,salt free dry surface.I'll scuff the surface with some light emory cloth.
