It was a fun time in the water on sunday. I would say waist high maybe with a couple of bigger ones come through and hardly anyone out. I know I had fun..

Gray... The board I ride the most, the fin (single fin) box starts at 10" from the tip and it has a 10" fin box. I have modified the fin to get more travel. Usually, the fin is set a maximum and that is 17 1/2" from tip to the start of the fin. On a 5' board, thats alot. Fin placement...

Gray... don`t be afraid to try something new and what you think mite work. All my boards are WAY different then everyone elses and they make everyone think.Your ideas may work and they may not.you never know unless you try.

Hey Gray... I`m no shaper by any means but this is what I think and works for me. The boards that I have shaped and ride, I put in what they call longboarder fin boxes. The boxes allow me to move the fins forward and backwards. The boxes come in 8" or 10". I ride single fin boards or what ...

Sure we can talk about and yes, the idea is that has to do with lift. It does need a little bit of size and steepness to work. But is fun when it does.

I`m in the process of shaping a fish myself. A 5-3 fish, about 20" wide.I don`t have boards for curtain size waves. i`m doing it because I have a OLD 5-3 that I ride from time to time because its just fun to ride

I went by last sunday and it looked good and 1 guy out.. The Crsytal pier , where I work by, today was over head. Lot of walls thought. But if you caught the right one,you had something to brag about. Darcy... I`m working on another board.. Get a load of this, a 5-3 twin fin fish. A LONG board......
