Dorge, Good to hear the Surf coast shire is keeping the Possos Rd traffic to only 35 mal riders per minute. Will look out for you at ' in betweens' one day. Was fortunate again this week end to leave Melbournes South eastern suburbs for the ocean Rd and a Torquay wedding. I was also lucky to enjoy s...

Last Sunday was enjoying some nice waves on the Peninsula with only a couple of grommets and me out. One was curious about me kneeboard and asking questions when lo and behold out paddles another dude on a kneeboard...he could not believe it!... making for a crowd of 2 lids - 2 short boards and 2 kn...

Isn't that flick amazing....I remember the comment of Georges' about 'the coup' his motorized surf boat being inspired by alien beings in a dream. Fantastic stuff! He's got a nice surfing style too in the film hey? Good tunes throughout too. I bought the movie and occasionally watch it late at night...

Do the states still have Milwaukeee's Best? Perhaps the worst beer ever? Worse than Bud. But Cheap!! I once spent several weeks staying in a 'trailer home' by Winter Park Colorado economizing apres ski, drinking that stuff by the gallon and living off fried egg and bacon sanwiches to save my budget ...

Dorje, My advice is put things into perspective and realise that if you are struggling to catch a stand on performance up then: a. ...you may be tailing or comparing yourself to an extremely agile young ripper or one of the percentage of shortboarders that really rip. surfing good spots habitated by...

3. Reasons why I recently converted: 1. Kept remembering a few wild wave that I saw some kneelos ride from years past. Visions kept niggling & niggling me to try and finally I did! 2. Short board Crowd aggro was depressing me - my board only worked when waves really good. Long board crowd too ha...

AM. If you can seek out a winged keel (Star Fin) as designed by the late and great Ben Lexan, slot it into a fin box on a mal, old single fin or knee board and give it a try in clean offshore waves, I think you'll enjoy the ride and appreciate the drive and control of the! My experiences and memorie...

Down in Vic OZ surf either side of Easter has been really good (in my view) - mixed between big swells making the reefs and points fire and small clean ones for the beachies. I'm a recent full time convert to kneeling and feel like a 34 y.o grommet at the minute absolutely enjoying the buzz of ridin...
