LinkedIn Group

I think there are others here that are also involved with LinkedIn.com. Someone should put a Kneeboard Surfing group together; preferably someone tied into this website using the logo, etc.

I put this post under gatherings... maybe somewhere else?

Thanks.

I've been riding waves for 7 years now, and while I'm starting to explore the world of reefs and shorebreaks, a wave like "OURS" looks quite literally like suicide. Ya know, none of these guys paddled out behind the peak the first time they tried this place. I'm sure they started as far o...

Hawaiian wave height formula:

b = Back of wave height
p = Penis size of person making wave size claim

Hawaiian wave height = b/p

The smaller the penis, the bigger the wave. Corrolary: Women can't make wave height claims.

Every wave I surf is HUGE.

That's a great picture! I was thinking that I'd hate to be the guy on the inside looking at a two wave hold down. Then again, it's 5 degrees F here, just outside of Philadelphia. I'm thinking "I wish I was that guy on the inside looking at a two wave hold down." That's gotta be better than...

I wear fins. I enjoy wearing fins. I am a proud fin wearer 8) 1. I've had shoulder problems since high school baseball and the fins take the paddling burden off my arms, to some extent. 2. I surf mostly shifty beachbreak waves and the fins get me in exactly the good take-off spot everytime. And the ...

I have an older, glassed-on fins, Parkes and I absolutely love it. The fins are fairly far forward and make my Romo seem stiff by compasison. I have to force my self to focus on where I want to go because as soon as I glance in another direction, my Parkes just goes there.

Re: Oregon

Go to Seaside via route 26. 1.5 hours. The best wave when it's working is the left point on the southside of town. Can be sketchy to get into and out of the water depending on the swell. My experience there: I had a good time. I kept my mouth shut, didn't snake anyone, no one snaked me, I never made...
