Stevea, good to see your doing your own thing, hope you make enough wonga to keep you out there. If you saw the British weather out of my window you would want to stay. I relate to what you are saying about fibreglass fins. The MR fibreglass set I'm still using have really grown on me. The board goe...

Hi again, I went back and retrieved the original remaining front fin from the shop where I left it. Turns out it was a GR, not GL as I thought. Fin rep was no where to be seen so surfed with the MR-TFX again, the board went OK, I could live with them, but will probably go back to smaller fins...

Hi Bruce, I've been to bed, got up and gone to work since last post - so no chance to to spend my shillings yet. In fact I don't even want to be at work because it's a nice sunny autumn day, no wind and a small glassy wave. Having a quick trawl on the net, I've tracked down the GAM's. Difficult to s...

Hi chaps, thanks for all the input and feedback, much appreciated. Headwax, your suggested set-up sounds pretty logical, you end up with the same sort of surface area you would with larger fins at front and small trailers. I hadn't really given changing the back ones any thought. Steve, thanks for t...

Crusader, I missed you then mid-post, you comedian you   Karl can have the cardboard fins AND the leaky inflatable board if we're going to be fair about this. Chris, good to hear they're emptying out the Polzeath rest home especially for the day   us old folk are not going...

Hello my good doctor friend, it's been a long summer guessing what the surfs going to be like without your loverly, reliable forecasts 8) Thanks for the offer, I should be able to get hold of them, once I know what I want  Talking of competitive, will the usual suspects be there?, is the champ...

Hi Steve, thanks for the info. I could see the GR, GX combo working well, I think that it is similar to the GL, GX set-up that Dave supplied the board with, but I can't find the GL on the FCS site to compare dimensions and I left my one GL in a surf shop by mistake while trying to track down a new s...

FCS advice for four-fin fish

Hi all, I would be grateful for any advice on which FCS fins would be good for the front set on a Parkes 5' 8" four-fin fish. The board came with a set of GL's on the front, which are actually longboard side fins? (correct me if I'm wrong) and went quite well. One ripped out though, plugs and a...

Hi Darcy, I've had to put up with pink diaper pictures at work all week, one was stuck on my office door on my return. I had a quick look through your pictures, well done, some nice shoots. Hi Red, good to hear from you. I didn't have chicken, but on the other hand I hadn't been eating it every day ...

Hello, thanks and a plea for pictures.

First of all a big hello from the U.K. to all the Americans that made it out to Tahiti, you did a great job representing your country and I hope you enjoyed the whole experience as much as me. Second, thanks Ed for digging out your dollar bills and helping to sort out the airport taxi fiasco, if it ...
