Well, here I am... I've been in N.Z. about a week. Spent a few days in Tauranga, meeting old friends, then lit off to Raglan, a safe bet...Head high and purrrrrfect for a few days. Then rain and wind. Total Blair Witch nights in my little tent! Now it's clean, and small. A nice place to wait, though...

Hi Folks, I'm going to New Zealand again (went there in 2003 and loved it). I'm writing to ask anybody who has been there for their recommendations- surf spots, cities and towns, best takeaways...anything. I'm particularly looking for nice places to stay that are walking or biking distance from surf...

I'll trade tips with you. The best, by far, poison oak lotion is "Tecnu". As far as I know, it's the ONLY one that washes away the poison oak oil. Now your turn: if Willow Creek and Sand Dollar (and the other place) are double overhead, like 10+, I probably won't be able to handle it--unle...
