I would say that speed comes in a flow from your upper half down. Your head and shoulders/outside arm in the direction of travel followed by hips/knees in one smooth movement. This torques up the pressure on to your inside rail and if timed right will give you a massive boost of speed. Knees on the ...

Hi Scott, The blanks we've been using are from Oz although we do have Homeblown blanks produced in Cornwall http://www.homeblown.co.uk/ Looks like they've started to push their product outside the surf industry also. They have a pretty good range of sizes available although i've heard mixed reports ...

Now is the time to push the friendlier materials that don't kill our playground and make them accessible and affordable. Shifting production elsewhere will surely just be a waiting game until either the environment gives up or another law will stop it again. We should surely all be striving towards ...

My small wave board is 5'10" X 24" wide and turns on a 50pence piece! Tri fin with back fin in front option is perfect balance of drive and release. Round pin to keep the area where its needed and plenty of curve to fit in tight spots. No wingers. Clean simple outline to keep the water flo...

Hi Chris,

Yes he did, nice guy to deal with! Think they're winging their way to me right now.

Also ordered some of Mr.Harts fine looking pads. Keen to do some experimenting. Amazing how a couple of bits of self adhesive foam can get a kneelo excited!!

Cheers

Best all round combination i've found yet is the double foiled FCS FG7's for sides with a small trailer. Good drive on demand and still able to break free when you feel the need! Well recomended. I tend to set my trailer fin in the rear position for that little bit extra drive and is working really ...

Good point on the quality control. I checked quite a few sets before parting with the cash and quite a few did have imperfections in the glass. They were a bit of a tight fit in the plugs too but guess thats no bad thing as don't really want to be losing them at that price! I've been using all 3 H2'...

Been using the H2's for a little while now in my small wave board and been really impressed. The extra cant built in to them really seems to give that extra boost when put on rail. The centre fin is also a slightly smaller template so the set as a whole feels nicely balanced. Interested to know how ...

Spent the last 20 years (i'm 28 now) riding pretty much everything i could. Started at 8 yo on a little polystyrene belly board. Progressed to stand up from there for a few years before getting hooked on the pit riding that a sponge enabled. Spent 10 years sponging with a bit of longboarding thrown ...

There will definitely be a huge range of boards to check out at the Nationals! I currently have 2 of Mr. Hart's creations and one in particular i have found ideal for conditions at home. It's 5'10 x 24", the extra width keeps the board gliding beautifully. Flat spots just aren't a problem any m...

Willi,

Spot on, it is a swallow and not a fish without a doubt. A point i should have made! Your board in the works looks a beauty and are very right to get excited about! Can't say more than your last sentence on Mr. Hart...again spot on!

Hi Kneemor, I've beenriding a Flashpoint 5'10" x 23.25" Tri fish very similar to the pic you posted for a few months now and have nothing but praise! My surfing has improved no end because i have found i don't really have to think about what the board is doing, it just does it. Was riding ...
