Hi Pes78, the flickr link isn't working for me, but I'd like to see you pics.

Probably a bit late now Rippe, but my advice on this is that unless you are using an expensive surfboard resin or have additive F, I would do a poly hotcoat over your epoxy lam. Sanding epoxy makes you want to slit your wrists otherwise (unless you've got additive F which makes sanding gorgeous.) So...

So sad to hear of your loss, Scott. I only knew MOW through KSUSA but he had a profound effect on me through his words here and his embodiment of what I learnt is the kneelo spirit: a willingness to experiment and try new things and a willingness to share and support others no matter how far removed...

HI BTM, thanks for sharing your method, really interesting. I'm trying to visualise the frames you describe, but it would be good to see some pictures. To be honest, I've stopped with the hollows now. After building 6 or 7 of them I realised that wood skinned composite-sandwich boards were much more...

I did mine last year so I feel for you! I don't think anything really helps much though the ibuprofen probably worked the best. Good news was that when they mend it happens really suddenly. I remembered one day I couldn't lie on my board, the next I was back to four hour sessions. I asked the doc ab...

Op went well. Yes Ab, it was a splinter of about 14cm that was missing, the actual gap was probably nearer 2-3cm. I now have a bit of bone grafted from my arse and a long titanium plate strapping it all together. Was pretty winded after the op but feeling a bit stronger today. Main challenges now ar...

Dear all, I haven't been able to login to ksusa for a while so imagine my surprise when I took a look just now and saw all these messages. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I'm in Singapore now. They patched me up and probably saved my life in Indo, but things went down hill a bit after that w...

I've heard so many of Dave's stories over the years. For all of his bravado and bull, Dave was a really kind hearted guy I believe. As Stephen says, many of the most fantastical stories turned out to be based in truth of a sort. He lived the dream, chased the dream, and probably beat the dream to de...
