Did Joel mention anything about Greg Little? Joel and his brother Josh lived down the street from Greg when we were groms. Greg was the first guy to take him down to Blacks and make him ride hollow waves. That was a long time ago. Joel still comes down the hill from time to time but only surfs south...

Back in the mid 90's or so Shawn Ambrose shaped me a killer 5'10" swallow tailed four fin with marine ply single foiled fins. Pendo always did the deck pads for me. Well, I drop by to pick up my board and he gives me my board and he is kind of laughing and giving me the haha I did something tha...

Ha, I knew my post would draw this type of response! In no way was I trying to diminish any of the competitors outstanding performance on the waves that were available during the contest. My point was that the waves they were given to ride were (in my opinion) not the type of waves a kneeboarder wou...

After looking at all of the the video and pictures posted from the contest and reading Scott's color commentary, I am going to go out on a limb and say that there should not have been any 10 point rides awarded to any of the contestants. The only exception would be the guy whose picture is captioned...

Oh, I forgot to add: Kneeboarding is going to go where you want it to go young Novo. Your Pop almost brought it to the mainstream on his own. If we had a guy over here at the time to fuel the rivalry on an consistant international level things would be different. But we did not and it is what it is....

Had some fun short lunchtime action at the local beachie w/ Jacks Lil Bro and an old friend from the hood. Little south lines coming through. Warm water and sunny skies. Summer $UCKS and that's that. Bring on Fall and Winter!!! That being said it's been a pretty fun summer so far. PS, anyone find my...

Jack, instead of an Ironman event we need to resurect the beverage open  More of an iron stomach event than a surf contest though.

Ah, good times.

Hart, are the templates for these boards still around? If so, would you be interested in shaping a modern version but set up as a 5 fin Bonzer?

I dig Crawfords style of kneeboarding. Butt wagging not so much.

You'll be a favorite of a few and the enemy of many. Welcome aboard and post up a shot of you with the "head"gear.

And we are all fruitcakes here so no worries. But watch out for the cross dressers in your hood, they can be aggressive.

I know this will sound crazy and all, but I have agree with RW on this one. On more that one occasion that little bit of fin overhang has saved me from losing an edge and winding up in a bad position. Also, I feel that I get better leverage in turns due to the platform my flippers give me to push of...

Not to pile onto the Mighty EQ, but two of the best boards I've ever owned are from stand up shapers. Steve Boysen, shaped me a board that I took to Pascuales one summer and for three month that baby handled everything I was able to paddle it in to and I made the biggest and deepest tubes of my life...
