Ive been looking at assymetric designs on the net for a bit. For standups, the theory seems to revolve around the difference in feeling between toeside and heelside, eg a goofyfooter going left would be doing a bottom turn with his toeside/left rail and going right he would bottom turn with his heel...

Ja would be good to do some research & find out what kind of breaks you can expect. Likely to be reef pass type of waves, sometimes mellow, sometimes shallow. When I was over there I had my favourite 5.11 and a backup 6.1 which I hardly surfed. I was a bit undergunned though on the 5.11 on 1 or ...

Hi Angie I spent a week on the SW side a while back during April, water was warm - surfed in baggies/chafevest, only wore a shorty in the AM when it was a bit nippy. The area we were in was really isolated so we had to make sure we had adequate medication, spare equipment, board repair goodies etc. ...

Haha Red, the good ole "pop n go" technique :D I realised (again) the other day how the lightness/manouverability/lack of inertia of a kneeboard makers this possible - went out on the longboard on a small glassy day-man did I have to paddle my guts out to get the blasted thing going - catc...

Man its that facebook thing again.....

But seriously I reckon all RSA kneelos should try to get up there, probably be the best shot we have to getting everyone together in one spot....
