Rod - I agree with Kneebumps. Scott Busbey is probably the best option in this area. He has been makeing KBs for Jeff Odin who is a damn good kneerider for years. I have a quad fish shaped by Scott if your friend would like to have a look and give it a try. Let me know

Cove pad users - what thickness do you like?

I have an 8mm pad on on my Flashpoint, I like the cove pads and I am looking to get 1 for my Fish - I was wondering if most people like the 5mm or the thicker 8mm pad? I surf East Coast so our water temps range from 42 F to about 75 F I would like to hear reasons for choosing 1 over the other. I thi...

Brad - Thanks for that tip - I sometimes have that problem when popping up and had thought that paddling into the wave from further aft on the board might help - great to get verification from kneeboarders with much more time in the water. I surfed stand up for many years, only adopted KBing a few y...

Well I am glad too hear y'all don't like the new (green/blue) duck feet. I live on the East Coast - somewhat isolated from the KB community. I had read that a large # of guys liked DF, so I bought a pair. My first session I thought "Gawd these things are huge- and stiff as hell!" I cut a c...

This is my opinion only For comfort Da Fin can't be beat and the thrust is good ,not as much as Vips or Ducks though (Kicks are the same fin just smaller blades so there is less thrust) I haven't used te new MS vipers so I can't compare those. If I use Ducks or Vipers I have to wear fin sox or booti...

Puttzy- Howzit going? Improving on Daves designs eh? I have used the vector fins on a couple of stand up boards with good results (Fish type) never tried them on KB's (mine don't have future boxes) The ones I used (V 1 3/2) look like they were bent inthe middle, made the board much faster - but seem...
