Sounds like a great idea.
Who would you get to shape/glass it?

Peter Crawford-Film
I was wondering whether anyone knew of any films of Peter Crawford surfing.
He did a Solo softdrink advertisement in which there is a surfing sequence, the stills of which are on the internet but does anyone know of any other films that are available on You Tube or similar?
Thanks

Interesting Bruce Hart/Flashpoint flextail for sale on Ebay. Looks to have a stringer right through the tail so I wonder how much the tail would flex.

Any thoughts?

Wetsuits - Japanese neoprene
I'm looking to get a new wetsuit, I'm currently using a 3/2 Ripcurl steamer and I have usually used their product but I was thinking of getting something different partially because of the claims being made by some wetsuit manufactures of the superiority of the Yamamoto Japanese neoprene i.e. greate...

I got Neil to shape me one about 8 months ago, mine has the Future Fins vector/hatchet set up and I have found the board to be an excellent all round board. I have found it to go well in all conditions but the outstanding property that it has is its hold while retaining loseness. Every other board I...

Thought this would be of interest. www.nevsurfboards.com The Co. plans to supply boards which are lighter, stronger, and greener. According to an interview with Nev Hyman they are looking to licence the technology to other board manufactures who will use the technology to make cutom boards. Any thou...

Island Surfboards
I have had a similar experience with Island and Neil.My kneeboard originally had glassed in fins, Neil later recommended putting in FCS fin boxes to get greater flexibility with the choice of fins. Not only did he put the boxes in for a good price he also gave me a discount for the fins that were rem...

Yes I agree, full flex is the way to go but there are problems with this design to do with floatation, strength of the board etc.In the real world where waves are not often perfect and uncrowded the Crozier slab was probably a reasonable compromise, at the time.It provided floatation but still had a...

Peter Crawford Flextail
There has been alot of discussion in this forum on flex, in both boards and fins, and the advantages of it.Spoons have been pretty well covered but there hasn't been much discussion on the type of flextail slab board that Peter Craword used to ride which I would have thought would be a good compromi...
