Downing stinger 5'4
i've been riding George Downing Stingers since 1977,i've tried twin fins/thrusters but found it harder to turn,probaly gotta adjust my weight or style altogether.

single fins
one drawback was at side slipping on waves at Bowls,Lanis,Vland etc.
i used a 6 inch flex fin,it was easy to do 360's left/right and spinners coming down the face of the wave.

Surfhorn, i emailed Buddy a few years back asking if he could shape a single fin stinger but he replied that he only shapes what he sells/rides.so thats cool,i know i'm a dying breed,if Ben Aipa can't shape one,i'll probaly hang it up,George Downing did a great job supplying me with stingers but he'...

Bud,
I KNOW a single fin won't be able to hold in like that.I think i'm pretty much late in the game to change my stlye,believe me i tried Fishes,thrusters,channel bottoms,etc.the thing is you guys make multi fin boards look so easy and effortless.i thank eveyone for their input.

Any Kneelos still ride single fin boards?
Since taking up the sport in '75, i've been stuck on single fin stinger designs like those surfers of yesteryear rode,Buttons,Liddel,Bertleman etc.
i'll be visting Ben Aipa this week for a 5'7 single fin stinger.maybe i'm just stuck in the 70's.
