Dry Land training

has anyone come up with a way to train on land?
of course one can practice popping up onto the knees, but for balance, speed sensation etc?
kind of like a kneeboard skateboard?
be good to be able to slide down a hill, practice grabbing a rail, sweeping left & right

Re: asymmetrical kneeboard

I remember asymmetrical boards were huge in windsurfing for wavesailing in the 80's with the idea of a board being built for a particular break i.e. right hand break so the tail & fins reflected that with the left hand tail being cut away. I would have thought that a kneelo facing forward is irr...

Brings back memories, i used to have a crozier flex tail in the 70's loved that board 5'6 x 23 1/2 i think it was, used to get so much speed off the bottom turn, launch it off the lip, air and plenty of it, not good for the knees [ didn't have deck pads then ] been thinking of making another one the...

He said it may either go do0wn by itself or may need surg to remove bursa sack. So - went out for a jog one day, swellingb went ...

Mike - neighbour saw it and he doesn't surf & reckoned it was an absolute beaut. Said it was one of the few movies he remained awake for the duration. He said the only wanky part of it was Russel Crow's commentry. Shows them as they really are - knockabout bunch of blokes protective of their hom...

Kev - mate - you've obviously never surfed the mid in Adelaide during summer. Any board shorter than 10ft I reckon struggles to stay afloat

G'day Slash Dribbleton eh? Probably see you out there one day. Got 2 sweet rides from Dave Parkes,1 X singlefin diamond tail & 1 X quad fish. Only trouble is Dave surfs in good quality more powerful waves than we have on the mid (esp in summer) so his boards are a bit thinner with more rocker - ...

Drugs - on the contrary, prohabition has proven that it doesn't work & never will. Mankind all over the globe for millenia has used mind altering substances to alter their subconcious yet it is only since the 1920's or so that they have been outlawed - thanks to the US Govt and their anti black,...
