and there is a photo of me on the top right of pg 39!!!! kneelo in disguise with a longboard!!!!

had them in a big wave board (shaped in SA where the fins are from) for about 4/5 years, but only got 1 set of fins due to limited availability yrs ago.... wrong fins for a kneeboard, but good to see some more available now. weirdo - will bring it up to next SKC comp and you can check them out Red.....

Cheers Jon, Great to chat and catch up in OC..... this was a great experience building the board and definately learned a lot, and got steered in certain directions by the materials!!!!
Lets just hope it floats!!!!!

Was meant to be 6'0", but somehow its 6'1.5"..... go figure!!! Nose 17", Width 23, Tail 16".

Board #2 is nearly completed!!!! The wooden kneeboard cometh!!! After about 2 months, I'm 90% done with the 2nd board..... This one has rails out of cork and redwood, bottom out of 1/8 inch birch ply (looks a bit crap) and a deck out of poplar and redwood. Just got to put a 'nose patch' on the deck ...

Well it was cracking good fun while it lasted!!!!!! At least I can say the English contingent was never out of the US titles!!!!! :lol: :lol: Great to catch up with some old faces and meet a bunch of new Yankie kneelos!!! Hopefully be back for another comp in a couple of years..... and on the bright...
