Re: Future Quad set

I like the seaworthy much better. They have a much better flex and release. At a point break I would think about an AM2 with 4,00 rears. I think it has a lot to do with the placement of the fin boxes on the board.

Re: New Kneelo

Kneeboarding is great. I surf south OC most of the time and will do day trips. Lets paddle out sometime. Little peelers are big healers.

Re: Input needed for my first kneeboard.

Sounds like a custom Cole Kneeboard Lucky you. Post pics when you get it, Will the bottom contour be the same. Are you running a deck pad. Surf it like you stole it.

Re: Input needed for my first kneeboard.

You should look at a true kneeboard. The Cole would work OK but there is a difference in the way a Kneeboard is shaped.

asymmetrical kneeboard

Has anyone tried an asymmetrical kneeboard? Would it ride the same as putting two fins on one side and a single twin fin on the other side? What does the tail and rail do for a asymmetrical board? :?

Re: Time for a new board

The fin placement looks great. I would think fin boxes would be easier. To me the glass on fins show that you really think about the way water will flow around the board.
Stay sane and keep shaping.
