Since I have been in Tahoe, I had to find something to do in the snow, since I don`t snowboard or ski. I checked into those because I was told about them. You can find them online at different sites, but, what you find are the ones for kids. I called them and what I was told was that because loan to...

Before 6, the harbor was a mess, too much wind from the north. Surfed alittle south of the O`side pier just out of longboard contest area. Surprisingly no crowd and minumal pre surfing people. Water is cold, 2-4 faces, sets were 4-6 faces with decent shape. Typical O`side. It seemed get better as th...

What I have found that works the best for me is the lenght of the leash. For me, if it`s short, it`s in the way. I use 8' leash. Something else I look for is the compatition models. They tend to be thinner and more flexible.

I was surfing with a buddy of mine, CP Odom, at San O and Curtis got hit by a shark. He says it was about 5-6 footer. Bumped him once and then turned around and came back for a second time. I saw him thrashing around. I thought he had gotten tangled in sea weed. But after I saw how white he was, I k...

I use duckfeet also. What I do with mine is I remove the center rib. It gives them a little flex. I feel that it gives me a little extra boost when first taking off. But you have to watch out because some of the duckfeet are made from softer rubber. I took one pair of my duckfeet and removed all the...

Fin cut,cut half way around down to the bone. It was one of those fluke accidents. In one of my wideouts at Salt Creek, somehow as I was tumbling around, the trailing edge of one of my fins found my hand. 15 stiches later, I was back to normal
