Vale Ian Cameron

Queensland legend Ian Cameron paddled out last Monday, will be missed. , apparently there will be wake today at Noosa. Sorry I can't be there having moved south. I know he was battling illness over the last couple of years but was always a friendly face on the track out to the points. I surfed again...

hi Headwax, concrete is not as forgiving as water, what were you thinking  Hope you get back in the aqua soon. The boys said it was the first time that end of the beach had worked for a while as that last larger swell had cleared the sand out. I must say it was sweet to surf down memory lane. ...

AB, no problemo :) The island surfers get antsy about the crowd scene, you know hot under the helmet but it's always a mission to get to the island. and being in rubber the turnover in the water is pretty constant. This time of year there are always people on the move. The locals have the conditions...

One of these days

I have just come back to the cabin after finally realizing an ambition I've had for the last 8 years. There's a break down here at the bottom of Tassie that due to circumstance, bad timing and conflicting commitments I've never had before today. Called Lagoons it's a right hand tube machine, with a ...

It's Lennox, As far as I know he was on velo, shooting over the shoulder in Echoes and for most of the on wave-water shots in Crystal Voyager . In the earlier movie-Innermost Limits of Pure Fun, again on a spoon but the camera was pointed toward the rear. Certainly easier to surf with without the of...
