RIP Eric and Mark

Wow,
Like Scott said, very surprising and how we never know when it's going to be our time. Late condolences on the passing of your brother too Scott. I didn't really know what to say when it was first announced here.

RIP Eric and Mark

I was looking at Buddy's website today and was reading about what he says about his Blast big wave boards: http://www.blastsurfdesigns.com/blast-big-wave-kneeboards/ He talks about how both his gun designs and his shorter big wave fish designs are effective depending upon what you like. The bottom c...

Relation of KB volume to weight of the rider

I would think that the KB volume required would also be related to the rider's weight too. I wonder what those ASP pros in tip top shape are weighing in at these days? I'm around 225 lbs. and my boards are typically 6' x 23" Blast boards with some thickness. I have one Flashpoint that's also 6'...

I swear by DaKine leashes. I like the Kainui model in 8' x 5/16". They also sell them in 9', 10' & 12' too. Available at Freeline

G--H--R-- can get really good sometimes. Both the north and south sides. Best in the Summer when the swells are smaller and more southerly. I surfed it a bit in my youth. Beware of the sketchy people who hang out in the parking lot.

Scott, that video it too funny

Usual suspects moving on
Rounds 4 & 5 were amazing to watch yesterday. Looking forward to the grand finale tonight. :D

Could you imagine what it would be like if you had a kneeboarding contest in waves like they're getting at Keramas
