Just saw your post. How was the morning sesh?

I hit there from around 2 to 4, just N of the creek. It was pretty good. Not real big, maybe head high on sets, but really clean and some real hollow ones, plenty of waves, and relatively uncrowded.

Bummed I couldn't make it to the contest and the kick off at John's. Driving up Friday after work to watch on Saturday tho...should be interesting.

What happened today? Did the contest even get started. Didn't look like any waves at all on the cam the few times I checked while at work.

I'd bet any kneelo in NZ wanting to compete at the Worlds wouldn't likely get turned away anyway, unless they get overwhelmed with entries...not likely.

I am already 'qualified', but not likely to be able to make the trip to NZ. Even tho Stables is my "home" break, I'd gladly bow out for any NZ-bound kneelo that needs to "qualify". On the other hand, if any spots be open for local talent, I'm sure anyone can imagine how badly I'd...

Have not surfed for over two weeks...longest layoff for some time (time change, work, family trip, etc....). Where are you headed this weekend? Doesn't look like much, but I'm up for an early go out, looks like a bit o south in the water?

Toofast, Wrong approach if you're on a HMO. My experience is the only approach is to DEMAND a specialist if you're not getting what you need from your primary. Jim, just reviewed the thread. Glad to hear the injury got sorted out and you're on the road to recovery. Your experience hits way too close...

Overhead was the only wave I saw being ridden in VC, and I saw the spongers earlier too WC, livin large!!!

Rincon was impossible. Maybe 4 guys out, but just trying to maintain some sort of positioning, then whammo, outside bombs cleaning everyone up. Not a wave ridden in the 30 minutes I watched.
