Nice weather and wave size in NorCal today. Had to go to the point breaks but big without being too big.

The owners of the schools must show some respect to the local community(not just local surfers). Also, it is not fair to their own students to throw them in a hostile environent and say "Have Fun".

Locals said they saw the news crews yesterday morning but never would have known about them except for newspaper. They were only at one small part of 5 mile stretch of beach.

Kelly has had trouble in contests at Sunset. His boards don't seem to be made for Sunset. Someone once said: "His inability to do well in a contest at Sunset cost him a World Title." (the year AI won a close one with Kelly) I still wouldn't say he was incomplete as a surfer. Sounds like so...

Epic, where I surfed. Great weather, and swell. Not too crowded.

Stretch calves before paddling out. Never be dehydrated.

Cruz has been good size since Sunday pm but a lumpy swell. Some waves good, most slow and lumpy. Foggy but glassy.

Got bigger all day. Some good size ones by dark.
