Had a break in the storms yesterday so took a flight up the beach from 40N up...beautiful snowy mtns but ocean looked like summer...crazy considering the storm activity we're having right now...maybe Santa will bring us a swell..last year he did...

Looked at Shelter Cove earlier today...whatever groundswell there might've been was completely hidden by big south winds just shredding the surface..Cooskie Mountain has been recording some rather impressive wind gusts lately...

Pound for Pound, it is still the best surf trip in the world. And there you have it--well, guess I'll just hafta go again...kinda interesting with actual geology happening changing the landscape before our very eyes, will make for some fun exploring. Hey, this is an update for anybody (skansand) interested in what's happening with Reggae on the River--it's been cancelled.
