Apparently, Tom had a cervical fracture (broken neck) in addition to multiple herniated discs. They used ceramic disc spacers and a bone graft from his hip then stablized the fracture with a bone palte. His prognosis is "good" for a full recovery. Time will tell. Like MF said his spirit an...
