Kauai... I like your "soul surfer" idea. And Gumby, she did knee ride her bodyboard a couple of times. If she keeps it up, I just might have to give Mr Hart a call and tell he has a use for the extra pink p-aint he got for one of my boards.

I don`t think there east/west/aussie/etc style... I think its more of "your personal" style. I know for me, if I surfed somewhere else, I would surf the same way I surf now. Other wise, I would be someone else.

Jim... Question for you... Did what you did affect your whole body ?? The reason I ask this because a few months I bounced of the bottom my self. I hit the bottom with my head/neck. Right after that, my right side was tinglely. I went to my doctor a couple of days later and she just gave some muscle...

Albert...... The boards I ride now, twins, the very front of the fins to tip of the tail are from 16 1/2" to 18 1/2". My Flashpoint that I got from Bruce, there is a extra set plugs set at 24". So, i`m in the zone that you are talking about just without the extra fins.

Why ride a Tri or a Quad ?? Up until a couple of yrs ago, I was still riding single fins. Then I stepped up riding twins. Most of my boards are set up so I can ride different amounts of fins. When I put 3 fins in, my boards don`t seem want to turn. Quad is even worst. I know there are a lot of guys ...

At the beginning of winter, I bought a Ripcurl E bomb 4/3. It has the full zipper and a flap that goes around your neck. The neck flap was a pain in the a$$ when getting the suit on. My board I got from Bruce has 6oz all the the way around. I tend to ride a lot of shore break and wanted the extra strenght. I`m 170#. My other boards are done with 2oz on the bottom and 4oz on top. Nice and lite.

Kel... That isn`t a silly question. He has left the site and thats why he isn`t around anymore. One more casulty. Beeline is a good buddy of mine and I highly respect his knowledge/thoughts and ideas. A very smart man. There a few of us that talk with him by different means.

kneeling... I agree with you about "being selfish". I didn`t think of it that way. But I see that as being very true. Who doesn`t like having a break to them selfs or with only a couple other guys. We all do. If we are respectful, then I see no fowl in it.
