Re: Time for a new board

The pictures look great. Have you made kneeboards before? Do you make kneeboards for other people? I can't wait to see it with a deck pad and hear how it surfs.

Re: penut shaped knee board

Thanks for the replay. It only raised more questions like fin placement nose width. Would you turn off the tail or the rail. Are you thinking of using the peanut outline for a kneeboard. Is there a board with something called a squid tail I think it flares out.

Re: penut shaped knee board

So how will a peanut shaped kneeboard help? I would like to see any sketches or pics if you have any.

picking the right deck pad.

I'm having trouble picking a cove deck pad for my new board. I would like to know if anyone knows the weight difference between an 8 mm and a 5 mm pad? Do the pads soak up water? :?:

Move that center fin forward and use a fins with less rake. Have you tried future WCT fins?

future fins

Changing up fins is a lot of fun. EA with the vector foil and the f4 are great basic fins. Does the board have a fin forward placement? I feel that with fin forward you can go big like the Pancho Sullivan or the Controller or seaworthy. If the fins are in the basic rear placement stay with the mediu...
