Bummer for Evan, one month into the start of his first college semester.

The NSSA National Kneeboard Championships is this Saturday at 1:10 pm.
Who is coming?
Evan will be there. This will be a quick break for him between games in the middle of a four day basketball tournament.

Welcome down. I can show on Sat and Sun, maybe have Evan with me on Sunday.

What a great comp. The lead changed many times, in this order: Odom-Noone-Devoy-Odom-Noone. A real three way race. The bigger surf favored big Sean Noone but the grommet Evan went after it and almost pulled it off.

Evan is entered. At this time six people are qualified for the event without having to back pay for missed events. If only six or less enter they will go straight to the finals on Sunday. If more than six enter they will surf heats on Thursday.

Who is competing?

2014 NSSA WEST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS
Are scheduled for May 15-18. Not sure yet when the Kneeboarding will be held.

Been real fun in O'Side as well.

Due to some spring break family obligations there were fewer than expected competitors. At the request of those present a final was run without qualifying heats. The final was very competitive with all surfers scoring waves. Evan took full advantage of his local wave knowledge catching as many waves...
