Evan will not be competing due to a time conflict with Varsity basketball tryouts.

THE NOVEMBER 23, 2013 EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO NOVEMBER 16, 2013. The event will still be at Seaside Reef , Cardiff by the Sea.

Heats are posted.

Outstanding Brad, two years in a row! First and second must have been close.
There are a couple of noteworthy items:
The semi-final heats were both won by the youngsters and these same young kneeboarders finished in the top three.

It was great to have Brad there representing the Black's Crew. Brad is always so smooth and solid.

I thought for sure Tom had made his first final, he surfed quite well in his heat.

He is killing it! I see much more power in his surfing as he matures.

Evan is registered for all five events. Who else is coming?

Great to see it on the agenda.

Did anyone collect the trophys from the Nationals event? I emailed them to pickup Evan's trophy at the next contest and was told it may have been thrown out.

I am good with these. The locations seem to be evenly split between the counties. I am a Pacific Beach-Mission Beach native and those would not be my choice for one of the five.

Brad; I agree.

Same for us. The only chance for us to go and for Evan to compete hinged on using air miles to purchase the flight tickets. To do this we would need to apply for the tickets when they are first released which was months before any confirmed contest dates.
