I work in Lake Forest but live in San Diego's North County where I surf with Toofast. Oceanside Harbor as well as Oceanside Blvd, and Tamarack street in Carlsbad will have Kneeboarders out quite often. Trestles is always calling for an after work session if you are interested.

Glad to hear someone finally mention volume. The riders height should have little to do with the design of a board, but the mass of the rider should control the volume. Volume would be the constant parameter with length, width and thickness as the variables.
