This is not only good for the contest but it gets Evan out of hot water with his basketball coach about Fridays game.

What a great NSSA season, hopefully the first of many.
This was a wonderful experience for Evan and it is due to all the hard effort of Mike Fernandez, thanks Mike!

Saturdays kneeboard heats will be just after a 6 foot high tide tops out. Good chance it will be swamped. The finals will be during a rapid drop towards a negative low.

Mike, Seaside is about a half mile to the south of Cardiff reef.

Not sure if there will be that much swell but there will be major tide issues.

It is worth asking. I am not sure with our reduced schedule that we are even included in the Championships.

I looked up several multi-piece travel boards and each time these ding-dongs bisect the board in the middle, not too smart. A three piece board with the center intact is a much better idea. separate the nose and the tail at least behind the forward fins. Leave the highest stressed areas as one piece.

Any word on heat times?

Any word on heat times. Evan is on a real short leash that day needing to be back in San Diego at 3:00pm.

Checking in to see who is competing when and where on the 20th and 21st. I will be out of town on business and Evan may need a lift to both the Salt Creek & Imperial Beach contest. Will anybody be passing through the O'Side/Vista/C'Bad areas that can lend a hand. Mom is busy taking Elise to her ...

I think we will do a pre-surf down in IB this Sunday. Will the contest be at the Pier? North or south? Anybody else want to show up?
