i too noticed the kneeboarder in drift, when looking for "i'm alive" by peter howe from MOTE. there is a cover of it in drift.

nice to see a kneeboarder included in the film. is it a period piece? 70s? doesn't look like he's using pads.

and there i was, envious of the waves being enjoyed in northern california...until the temps were revealed.

my gf is over in canada at the moment, dressed in her curling sweater, drinking rye and ginger and curling with her mum and grandmother...in -21c temps.

there was a bit of size for the new year eve surf at bronte/tamarama yesterday. some nice walls despite the wind.

i'll just fill in time till the real shapers get in here and have a word... bottoms -- single concave into double, v tail. by the way, what the hell is a spiral v? as for fin placement...i'm a big believer in going with your local product. there's a reason it was succesful. you're from san diego, so...

i was asked to DJ a party by a girl celebrating her double hip replacement with a dance party. she managed to dance the whole night through. so hopefully riding a kneeboard won't be a stretch for you.

last month a guy asked me "where is your strap?" which is more personal than the usual banter in the lineup.

anyway, he thought kneeboarders place a strap over their legs after popping-up. nothing would convince him otherwise. he suggested i try one.
