castration sessions

Ferral, I second those remarks about the good brands of boardshorts. I like the Oneill freak or the Quicksilver manic ( thicker, more durable but maybe not quite the strechyness) . Sometimes I'll wear that Underarmour Heat short under the lighter Oneills for protection w/o rash.

capt. nemo

What's the status with the Capt. ? Is he been subject to "banishment " , I thought I saw a post by him last week. I'm going to fire up the DVD player now and watch " Finding Nemo" in honor of the Captain.

BTW, could someone please explain, whats the difference between Octoblade and H2Octo fins, ( this question may have to be explained by one of our Aussie bretheren who will actually ADMIT to wearing fins ). S...

That footage gives me chills ! First time I surfed that place me and my buddy wrongly talked ourselves into going out on a 2-3x O.H. day just after X-mas in '77 ....amazing how fear can inspire motorboat paddling speed. These shots remind me of Mavs. footage or something, Sick!

Jules had remarked on Da Fins, anybody else tried em for kneeriding ? I have a pair that I've only fooled around with in junk surf once or twice. Great propulsion relative to weight, but because of the lightness it seemed like my feet kept coming to the surface a lot and I'd be slapping the water. N...

I have a Blast 5-10" x23 1/2" Dbl. wing rounded pin w/FCS. Great board, good in large or small surf , turn initiation is very smooth and easy due to the rnd. pin design. That having been said, I have heard nothing but crazy good reviews of Buddy's F2K Fish ( my next board as soon as I sort...

An Aging Max B.

Happy Birthday Max ! Don't let it bug ya, it's pretty much just a number(except for the backaches and sore knees). Having enough sense to paddle out at big Wedge isn't a sign of senility kicking in.....not remembering after the session where you parked your truck...different story. Happy Birthday. &...

The maker of Water Slaughter is one of us? That would explain why there's 100 times more kneeboard footage than any other "mainstream" surf movie, (.002 nanoseconds average). Thanks for the info guys.

Cheers, Robert
