Doc,

I read in a recommendation in a sailing mag recently for Panama Jack's Surf-n-Sport SPF 75. Haven't tried it myself.

I'd like to get my 13 & 14 year old sons involved in the Juniors competition. Will the juniors be limited to Saturday competition. It might be harder to get junior participation if they have to miss school. Not that the kids would mind.

Looked like slow response from the server last night. For better results and repeat viewing, right-click on the link and select "Save Target As" to save the video file to your PC. When done you can open the file and view with your media player.

Another vote for the Parkes Pads. Easy to apply and they work great.

The link worked for me last night. I downloaded both the high res videos.

Sponge kneeboard? For around the same money you could get the real thing. Don't really see the point. May be for the kids?

Long board envy? I saw someone kneeboarding an 8 foot mini-mal at Windansea this morning. Not exactly a performance vehicle, but they were catching lots of 2' waves.

I experience the same with almost all fins I wear with bare feet. With booties or fin socks I get no blisters.

BZ makes a 5' fish that might work as a decent beginner board. You can also get custom shapes from some of the sponge makers. Not cheap though, and won't perform like a good fiberglass board.
