Have had reasonable success with hanging on a long as possible and also the diving off the front technique however lot of my best beltings have been when getting my line wrong as the initial lip descends. Off thread a bit When coming out of the barrel on a high line at speed (on rare occasions) I of...

Hi Jeff

I like the look of your new board, pattern done in the panels provides a nice symmetry.

Good riding!

Hi Terence AB's boards are first class and so light. Also Dave Parkes is not too far south at Byron Bay. Quite a few guys reckon Mick Carpenter (Sunshine Coast) makes a good kneeboard. I don't know him but you may be able to contact him through Beachbeat (local surfshops). Paul at " The Factory...

It's a kneeboard design forum and while a hoary chestnut is of interest to some.

My reality check is comparing my boards length to what the short board riders are riding on the day.

Caveats for Sunset , Deadmans and heavy units.

Hey JD

Nice surprise, hopefully you got in the water yesterday. Was enough swell up here to warrant a test run yesterday arvo. Like to see some shots of it.

Agree - repochage is certainly a welcome addition when folk have come from all corners to be involved.

Strangely gripping to watch the heat scores live and then trying to imagine competitor's predicaments.

Hi Eric I stayed at Hurundfushi resort last week of May a few years back. You have exclusive access to Lohis but it wasn't that good during my stay. They send out Dhonis twice a day usually one to Sultans/Honkies other to Cokes/Chickens. Got some nice waves and had a good time but it was crowded at ...

The kneeboard division was reinstated in 2006 and we have appreciated the support of local and interstate competitors since then. It's a friendly atmosphere a...

Kev

It's dodgy here in Spring for waves. Had a late surf today 1 ft maybe a foot and a half. Light weights did ok but i couldn't get any speed.

Water's warming up though.

catch up soon.

Toughen up Feral or we'll have to change your name to Metrosexual Mick !

One thing I noticed in the Maldives was our guide changed out of his wet boardshorts as soon as he got back on the boat. I thinks its the walking around in wet boardies that can kick start the rash.
