Oh yeah, that board "is sick"? How the hell can he tell that, all he did is stand and fall. What did he do to actually asses it's sickness? That's like getting on a motorbike and crashing straight into a wall over and over again only to express how great the bike handles.

Really, do you have to ride a finless board looking like you are taking a dump? There are guys riding bodybaords standing up and they make real turns without fins.

Also, how much shaping can you put in the bottom before it qualifies as fins?

That was a great weekend. Lots of surf, sun and relaxation. Surfed Davenport, 4 mile, and 3 of the spots at Pleasure Point. Found a camp site accessible only by 4x4. Sat night was fantastic, I ended my session with the sun setting, catching an outside wave at Sewers to First Peak and then 5 minutes ...

So I've got four days to do as I please. My only restrictions are I must be able to drive there...where should I go? I can and and am happy to sleep in my car, this is stoked and broke with a vehicle.

looks like a fabulous surf weekend in store for the west coast!!! planning to surf camp the holiday weekend at Jalama or another northern SB destination to take advantage of sun and substantial WNW on tap.

used flippers for the first time this weekend without any ill effects. It's been about 5 months since surgery and I'm now ready for the winter swell.
