pickle fork
There are some pics of a pickle fork kb on Bud's blasthawaii.com site under innovations in the articles section. I reckon the biggest plus of that design is that it's gotta scare the bejesus out of anybody contemplating dropping in on you. Ken

:Tumak, the balsa sounds great,for a final touch you can get a Greenough 4a fin from True Ames.It's essentially a stage IV and matches the one in the Journal article.(red?) What did you decide to order on the balsa? How old school do you want to go? Surfers Journal vol 7 number 4 has pics of GG's original velo,a solid balsa single fin spoon that he eventually used as a mold for his first flex spoon.A modern incarnation of that might be right up your alley.
