In San Diego, we have the red tide, and I've been having to deal with these babies. Talk about brutal!

I heard about "russell" passing away a couple of days ago. My prayers go out to his family! I remember going into his surf shop in the mid 70's

Max, the big south was on the 5 O' clock news today! They showed some
very big sets all being bodysurfed! One guy was interviewed saying
that he's been hurt a couple of times at the Wedge. Most of the waves
looked like they were closing out.

I remember those trips. Bill you got quite a few boards from Buzz didn't you? Most of those times what we did were definitly "against the law!"
