So good to see that PC footage, other than the pub squash ad that's about the only real bona fide slab riding I've seen on film would love to see more! That first drop in to the barrel and riding the foam ball is insane!

Hi joe, I'm about 40 mins from Torquay and there's some options nearish for waves depending on swell!

I'm in a field in the middle of nowhere at the mo but will drop you some info when back home later.

Cheers

Stunning board! I have a 1977 twin with fluted wings shapes by John that I ride quite regularly and what amazed me most when I got it is just how contemporary it actually is particularly in the foil through the tail. Same with this board, that foil through the back is just beautiful! Fantastic to se...

Bro does have the gift! (Must catch up soon Dunc)

As far as numbers go, around 1" at 1' off the nose gives good entry and paddle power i'm finding along with a single concave under the chest. Speed to burn. You can flip the tip as much as you like on the last couple of inches as Mr.'Wax says!

Check out Duncan jones' board shaped by Bro Diplock. He surfs double overhead reef waves on it. Basically a 6'0 packaged in a 5'2"! No flippers either, pics are in the board gallery. Sure he will be along at some point! Edit sorry its 5'1" and pics here! http://www.ksusa.org/Forum/album_sh...

Out there for my wife's friends wedding so will have family along and taking a board may not be too practical... How much to get a board to NZ from oz? Or does anyon...

Put em up on YouTube or Vimeo and post links is the best bet. Can't wait to see them beginning to think there was some sort of media blackout conspiracy going on considering the caliber of the comp! Why so quiet????

Hi red, just thinking out loud really but when looking at kicking up the tail rocker in the last 4" of the tail would there be any negative effect to using an angular lift rather than a curve? Thinking this would maintain better pressure/drive through the tail without the 'damping' effect of a ...

Thanks red that's a fantastic pearl of knowledge to add to the collection! I can see how that would work, need to look at how my rockers will fit as they've been running quite a bit flatter for the last year. Lots to think about can't wait to get the next one out now!

That's my findings for sure micko, losing the vee altogether makes top turns a bit catchy and I know some others over here found the same. Comes around a lot sweeter with a bit of lift at the rail. 3/8" sounds like a lot of concave how far towards the nose does your single run? Jdkneelo, if we ...

Hi Angie yep same basic set up but I put a bit of rolled vee in the nose before the single starts and the double has a bit of vee in it through the fins. Interested to hear from any parkes tri riders with the full single concave with the double set within it at the fins and also any drift riders out...

Thanks red makes sense as I guess the flat gives a cleaner release to the bumps instead of trying to channel confused water down the board? Do you notice any detriment to paddling speed or release when taking off without lift from a concave further forward?
